Welcome to Ashley - "Nothing But Grey Skies Ahead"

This is a really solid rock song with a fun video, thank you to Kevin for suggesting it. Kevin writes:
Chicago winters suck. They're long, dreary, and chock full of snow and subzero temps. Sometimes the only way to deal with the daylight hours is to drink Guinness and listen to your favorite tunes, something Chicago's Welcome to Ashley exemplifies perfectly in their cleverly-shot and quirky new video. "Nothing But Grey Skies Ahead" is the newest single (and first video) off of the band's latest EP, Absent Man.

Drawing on influences from bands like The Smiths and Echo & the Bunnymen, Welcome to Ashley has been creating quite a buzz in Chicago's music scene. The video was filmed by Coley Kennedy (vocals) and Jeremy Barrett (bass), and has been gaining traction on music blogs like Brooklyn Rocks, Windy City Rock, and Assault Blog. Post-punk and powerpop fans rejoice! For more info on Welcome to Ashley, check out their MySpace - http://www.myspace.com/welcometoashley

Cheers!
